Fashion Under the Stars Parade Highlights Local Style and Community Support
A blend of beauty, lights, and music against the backdrop of the Castello scaligero. More than a thousand people were captivated and involved in the parade “Fashion under the Stars,” held for the second consecutive year with professionalism and an elegant touch by boutiques from the historic center of Lacis. “An event to be proud of for everyone,” said the mayor after stepping onto the catwalk – also on behalf of the Municipal Administration for their contribution to the initiative.
Start of the parade and opening with gospel
The atmosphere immediately centered around the entrance of a gospel group sent as a symbol of collaboration and friendship from Gardaland. Then, the parade opened with a segment dedicated to young and very young models, presented by the Clacson boutique of Giuliana Meletti and Caregon on via Porta San Zeno, featuring fearless and provocatively relaxed emerging top models and mini-models, long applauded by the elegant ladies seated in the front rows but also by the standing audience bordering the castle’s inner courtyard walls.
Collections and accessories
Following were the collections by Astrid Cristina from the Quiero boutique, featuring beige, black, and purple colors, and the accessories market: from two-tone shoes and bags by Bertasi on via Fontana, chosen by stylists matching current trends with outfits; to sunglasses with tinted and teardrop lenses from Il Punto di Vista in piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, and mobile phones. The entire look was complemented by hairstyles from Cristina Vincenzi, makeup by Luisa da Colà, energetic hairstyles by Forme & Colori, and cosmetics and perfumes from Luxury on via Alberello.
Characters and host
The elegant Giuditta Bolognesi hosted the beautiful evening, dressed in a long black gown, assisted by a young blonde German woman for translation, while the front rows of the runway were filled with a captivated audience and among many guests were the provincial commander of the Carabinieri Colonnello Gianfranco Scanu, Deputy Police Commissioner Alessandro Meneghini, provincial Tourism Councillor Davide Bendinelli, Verona city Councillor Riccardo Caccia, Gardaland president Enrico Ghinato, and local Lacis officials.
Sporty and yachting style segment
The parade continued with the O’Neill line for adults and juniors, emphasizing a sporty look with nods to the nautical school, along with yachting-inspired models from the Da Fabio boutique. During the millennium pajamas, lace, and transparency segment, there were shrill reactions, not so discreet, from the female audience as the “macho” models strutted under the spotlight, exposing their backsides.
Finale and awards
The finale featured male and female models from Madison on via Arco and corso Ospedale; Loris and Massimo Tattoo on via Partenio; and One Way in piazza Vittorio Emanuele. An acknowledgment for the event promoter Fanny Carrara also came from the Councillor Davide Bendinelli, who promised continued interest from the Province in the future, along with Enrico Merenda, president of the Riviera degli Olivi tourist promotion company, and Fernando Morando from the Chamber of Commerce.
The event was supported by financial institutions operating in the area (Banca Popolare di Vicenza, Cariverona, and Popolare di Verona Banco SS Geminiano e Prospero), as well as Body Spring and Il Quadrato clothing.
