Ezio Greggio and Enzo Iacchetti Return to Lead Striscia la Notizia

Ezio Greggio and Enzo Iacchetti confirmed to lead Striscia la Notizia again for the upcoming season. Ezio Greggio, recently awarded the Charlot Prize as “Comedian of the Year,” has just returned from America, where he filmed a movie with Leslie Nielsen that will be released in theaters this fall: “2001 – An Out-of-This-World Spaceship,” directed by Alan Goldstein. It is a parody of the science fiction genre; full of special effects but mocking blockbuster films. Greggio will play the role of the security chief on the most insipid planet of the planetary system, where detective Leslie Nilsen arrives to investigate.

But beyond announcing the awarding of the prestigious prize and promoting his new film, it is primarily the triumphant announcement of his return to Striscia la Notizia, alongside the inseparable friend and colleague Enzo Iacchetti, that marks Greggio’s comeback to Italy. It will undoubtedly be a significant season for Greggio, as after many months, the so-called “strange couple” that achieved the greatest success hosting the satire show of all shows will be back on air.

News and Expectations

Few details have leaked about the new features compared to previous editions. When asked if there will be any substantial changes, the comedian remains mysterious, hiding behind a veil of irony and declaring he still doesn’t know what he and his partner will come up with.

Perhaps they will change the nail polish of the showgirls (will it be the same as last season’s or will there be new ones?) and Iacchetti might get a new denture. The important thing is that the two of them will be there.
