Railway Blockade Scheduled on Milan-Venice Line for WWII Bomb Detonation
Tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a blockade will be in place on the Milan-Venice railway line, between Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda. The train service will be replaced with buses.
Reason for the blockade
The blockade is due to the need to detonate an aerial bomb (250 kilograms) from World War II, which was found in a vineyard near the tracks.
Alternative traffic situation
No issues will affect those traveling on the A4 highway.
