Night of Beatles Tribute and Commemoration at Sesto Senso Club
A night in the company of the Beatles. This is the proposal that the Sesto Senso club of Desenzano, in collaboration with the “Beatlesiani d’Italia Associati,” will offer to its loyal clientele on Friday, November 24th. An atmosphere different from the usual, created intentionally by Puccio Gallo to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of John Lennon’s passing.

It will undoubtedly be a night not to forget, especially because the setting and atmosphere that will be specially arranged will transport attendees back to relive the phenomenon that, originating from a London basement, managed to spread and establish itself worldwide.
“The Beetles,” later nicknamed by the Queen as “Baronetti,” with their music and style of presentation, influenced, and still influence, the entire world.
On Friday evening at Sesto, after the 10:00 PM buffet, these sounds will echo throughout the venue thanks to the presence of two of the most representative bands of the Beatles tradition: “The Apple Pies, Beatles band” and “The Beatops”.
The bands and their interpretations
The “APPLE PIES” are four Roman guys who perform exclusively live, using period instruments, the songs of the Beatles from 1960 to 1966. The style, sounds, and spirit of those fabulous years are recreated in concert with the same instrumentation as the Liverpool quartet, avoiding any electronic effects or external sounds.
The band members’ clothing will also be strictly authentic: grey suits, ankle boots, baseball caps, reminiscent of the first American appearance in 1964. Among the songs performed will be the famous Yesterday, Michelle, Help, Ticket to Ride. Their appearances on the most popular and followed television programs are countless.
On the other hand, “THE BEATOPS” give the vocal and instrumental performance of the Beatles the right “feeling” expected from singers or groups who revive that fabulous repertoire, which they themselves state, “has never been so simple.”
This band is presented by Rolando Giambelli, the leader of the group and also the promoter of the well-known organization, “Beatlesiani d’Italia Associati”, or “The Beatle People of Italy”.
Repertoire and the book dedicated to the Beatles
The repertoire of this group essentially covers the entire “Beatles” historical period from 1962 to 1970, the year the world’s most famous quartet disbanded.
During the evening, the beautiful volume, published by Rizzoli, “The Beatles Anthology”, will also be presented, which tells the true, authentic, and autograph “legend” of this unforgettable musical band.
This publication features the three Liverpool boys — Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr — recounting their story, the story of their group.
Joining them was also Yoko Ono Lennon. An extraordinary work that, through “a meticulous collection of sources,” — as the publisher explains — “has made it possible” to include in this incredible volume “the words of John Lennon.”
