Comunità del Garda Approves New Executive Council Delegations

approval for the parliament of the Comunità del Garda with the distribution of delegations within the executive council. The Veronese component benefits from this arrangement with two significant appointments: the vice presidency assigned to Giovanni Zappalà, mayor of Brenzone, and the confirmation of Antonio Pasotti from Bardolino in charge of tourism.

The president Giuseppe Mongiello, vice mayor of the municipality of Salò, can also count on the close collaboration of the Trentino Vincenzo Ceschini and the Brescian Marcello Cobelli, respectively responsible for the environment and Internet sectors.

Completing the board are Veronese members: Davide Bendinelli, provincial councilor for Tourism, and Cipriano Castellani, mayor of Caprino; Brescian representatives Marcello Beschi of Maderno, Clara Medici of Desenzano, and Adelio Zanelli of Puegnago; as well as Mantuan members Bruno Righetti of Cavriana and Virginio Annoni of Volta Mantovana.

Considerations on the distribution of delegations

“A delegation assignment that had to consider a complex situation,” states the new vice president Zappalà, “which emerged following the electoral assembly that led to a decrease in Veronese representation compared to the previous legislature.”

“It was therefore essential, in order to achieve internal rebalancing, to establish a stronger presence — not so much personally,” emphasizes Zappalà, “but as the province of Verona within the community executive.”
