Samarcanda Antiques Fair and Pulchra Ecclesia Exhibit Close Today

For an event that is ending, here’s one just beginning. We are talking about «Pulchra Ecclesia», an art exhibition dedicated to sacred spaces that closes today at the Centro Fiera del Garda in Montichiari, and about «Samarcanda», an antiques, modern collectibles, and collectibles fair that opened yesterday and will close on February 4th. Fortunate in every aspect, the «Samarcanda» exhibition is organized by the Staff service of Antonio Miotto. Fortunate in its name, like the legendary city of Uzbekistan. Fortunate because each year it is a success. And even more fortunate this year, with its thirteenth edition. Spanning an area of 6,000 square meters, 130 antique dealers from all over Italy display their treasures. Because every object on display has its story, its charm. Whether ancient or modern.

Exhibition and opening hours

Not to be missed, as part of the event, is the «Caffè che passione» exhibition, a significant collection of coffee machines from 1900 to 1960 by Enrico Maltoni. Considering that Italians consume 35 million cups of coffee every day, it seems fitting to highlight the machines that produce it. Especially if they were designed by Giò Ponti, Achille Castiglioni, or other renowned architects, even better.

The opening hours are as follows: Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm; on other days from 3 pm to 8 pm. The entrance ticket costs 12,000 lire.
