Desenzano Nutrition Conference on “Mucca Puzza” and BSE Risks

Tomorrow, February 17th at 4:00 PM, at the Palazzo del Turismo, a conference will be held dedicated to the new frontiers of nutrition and, in particular, to the case of “Mucca Puzza,” a topic that has been increasingly attracting the attention and interest of the public in recent times.

The Comune di Desenzano del Garda administration deemed it appropriate to offer a moment for reflection and analysis with specialists. “The intention,” – affirms the Culture Councillor Emanuele Giustacchini – is to assess the current situation on this pressing issue, conduct a thorough and objective analysis of the BSE (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) emergency without falling into false alarms. The administration aims to provide citizens with an important informational service on the topic.

Participants and leadership of the conference

The conference will be chaired by the same councillor. Participants will include Professor Vincenzo Scontrino, medical director at the Emergency Department of Desenzano Hospital; Dr. Giovanni Zanusso, researcher at the Institute of Neurology at the University of Verona; and Dr. Antonio Revere, dietitian physician.
