Garda Region Replaces Mimosas with Lemon Flowers as Symbol

No more mimosa for women in the Garda area; their new symbol will be the lemon flower. This was stated by Maria Germontani, national president for equal opportunities at AN and president of the municipal council, on March 8.

«The lemon blossom is extremely fragrant,» said Germontani, «and it represents a flower that connects the Garda region with renowned cities famous for their lemon groves.»
