Riva and Arco Delegation Visits Lombard Sports Halls for New Basso Sarca Facility

Treviglio, Montichiari, and Brescia: these are the three stops of a “study trip” carried out yesterday by a mixed delegation of administrators and technicians from the Communes of Riva and Arco.

Part of the delegation included, in particular, the mayor of Riva Cesare Malossini, the deputy Pietro Matteotti, the chief engineer Pellegrini, the public works councilor of Arco Stefano Bresciani, and architect Noviello from the Technical Office.

In the Lombard cities, the delegation went specifically to visit and gather the necessary documentation on three Sports Halls that could serve as a good reference (not to copy, but to correct potential issues) for the construction of a similar facility in Basso Sarca, which, as is well known, should be built in the Palarigotti area, precisely in synergy between Riva and Arco.

The two administrations need to accelerate the process because by the end of the month, the Province, which will largely fund the new sports hall, would like to have a preliminary project from the municipal offices.

Yesterday, they visited sports centers that accommodate between 2,500 and 3,000 spectators: exactly the need of the Basso Sarca.
