New Tourist Guide “Le Colline Moreniche del Garda” Presented

Today at 11:30 a.m., the new Tourist Guide «Le Colline Moreniche del Garda» will be presented at Villa Mirra. This work was created by the Associazione Turistica Colline Moreniche, which represents eight towns: seven from Mantova (Castiglione delle Stiviere, Solferino, Cavriana, Volta Mantovana, Monzambano, Ponti sul Mincio, Medole) and the Brescian Pozzolengo. It is a compact, practical, and portable guide designed to promote the Morenic territory — explains the association president Rita Farina — it features musical and gastronomic itineraries, as well as bicycle excursions.

Contents and features of the guide

Translated into German and English, it will serve as a convenient resource for tourists, providing information on local nature, the history of the area, a list of events, and an overview of typical local products.

Also noteworthy is the territory map, which includes hotel accommodations and telephone numbers for institutions and associations. The guide’s texts are authored by Marzia Sandri and Bruno Borghi; the photographs are by Mario Piavoli (son of director Franco), Stefano Lunari, and Bruno Borghi.
