Bocciodrome for Italy’s Blue Athletes and New Palazzo del Turismo Open
On this morning at 10:30 AM, in Toscolano Maderno, the refurbished Bocciodrome was inaugurated, which will be dedicated to the “Italy’s Blue Athletes“, just like a street in Puegnago or the Bergamo football stadium.
Located next to the Sporting and the library, it has expanded from two to three courts. In the future, it could host national-level competitions. The president of the “La Tosco – Madernese” club, Armando Franzoni, and his team worked diligently until the last moment to complete the finishing touches.
The cost of the project was 250 million lire. Next Saturday, April 28, it will be the turn of Benamati, located in the historic center of Maderno. The building, renovated at a cost of 750 million lire, including furnishings, will become the Palazzo del Turismo.
The Function of the Palazzo del Turismo
It will host cultural and sports associations, the offices of the department, and the office of the Riviera dei Limoni, the consortium that groups together operators of the Brescia Riviera on the lake.
The main hall can accommodate around seventy people and will, for a period, host municipal council meetings, which have long been held in the library. There is also space for exhibitions.
