Malcesine Honors German Family for 43 Years of Lake Garda Loyalty

Tonight at 9 PM, at the Hotel Cassone in the eponymous hamlet, a brief ceremony will be held for a very special reason.

Some representatives of the Malcesine municipal administration and the Tourism Promotion Agency will present a diploma of merit to the Pausch family, originating from a small town in Germany but very characteristic and welcoming, called Regensburg.

The reason for awarding this honor lies in the family’s loyalty to Lake Garda, as they have been choosing and spending their summer vacations always in the district of Malcesine for the past 43 years.

This year, in fact, Guntram Pausch, his wife Elfriede, and their daughters Ruth and Gudrun, arrived in early June, just as they have each season.

An affection for the small tourist spot of Cassone so deep that it was necessary to highlight it and deserving of the official recognition that the local authorities have decided to bestow upon the charming German family.
