New Gardesana Tunnel Nears Completion Ahead of Schedule

The construction of the new tunnel between Limone and Riva del Garda is proceeding at a rapid pace, undoubtedly ahead of the schedule initially planned.

So much so that tomorrow afternoon, a ceremony will be held to dismantle the last diaphragm dividing the long tunnel, which should finally secure the section of Gardesana Occidentale.

At this rate, it is increasingly likely that the tunnel will be open to traffic by the first half of July.

Commemoration and Authorities Present

The Provincia announces the ceremony scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, which will be attended by Alberto Cavalli, president of the Broletto, Mauro Parolini, provincial councilor for Public Works, and Bruno Faustini, president of the Community Park, along with Trentino authorities.
