Riva and Beit-Jala Foster Friendship with Official Palestinian Visit

There has been, for some years now, a fruitful relationship of friendship and solidarity between Riva and the Palestinian town of Beit-Jala.

Recently, Raji Zeidan, the mayor of Beit-Jala, has been visiting Italy, and among his official visits, he certainly did not miss a meeting with the Rivan colleague Cesare Malossini and the people of Alta Garda.

Welcome event and demonstration in Riva

For this reason, today at eleven, an official welcome ceremony will be held in the representation room of the Riva town hall, while at 8:30 p.m., in the Scipio Sighele Secondary School Auditorium, there will be a demonstration titled “Life experience in Beit-Jala, Palestine,” where the Palestinian mayor will share the harrowing hardships, tragedies, but also the strengths of his territory.
