Lake Garda Lottery Tickets On Sale for August Prizes and Events
The tickets for the National Lottery of Lake Garda are now on sale. Starting this week, they can be purchased at traditional points of sale, the tobacco shop network, at Autogrill motorway service stations, in many newsstands, and at tourist facilities: hotels, campsites, and shops in the Benaco area that wish to support this initiative promoted by the Garda Community.

The lottery will conclude with the sailing races scheduled for August, aligned with the Giochi della Centomiglia. The ticket price will be, as tradition, 5,000 lire, and the first prize will amount to 2 billion lire.
Promotions will also be organized around the most significant and prestigious events of the lake summer. The Garda Lottery is part of the Ministry of Finance program, which, throughout the year, includes six groups of cultural and sporting events paired with as many billion-lira draws.
Events and Cultural Engagement
The Benaco competition will “sail” alongside cultural events such as the Celestinian Pardon of L’Aquila, the historic parade of Federeico II, the ecological tour of “Green Gullet,” and the Norman Palio of Piazza Armerina.
This is the third time, after 1991 and 1995, that the sailing regatta has been organized again by the Circolo Vela Gargnano and the Garda Community has requested the Lottery.
“Centomiglia Games” Format
The “Centomiglia Games” format involves a specially arranged regatta by the Circolo Vela Gargnano. It will be a team event involving countries that normally frequent the lake’s shores, formed by the fleets of the three Groups participating in the traditional Centomiglia.
Alongside the three Groups, there will be a small fleet of “Optimist,” the small boats used by sailing schools worldwide.
On August 24, the various Groups will compete in a series of races along the coast from Gargnano to Brenzone, from Bogliaco to Torri, from Tignale to Campione, on round-trip courses called “bastone.”
On August 25, the different fleets, paired with 6 countries and as many localities, will determine the podium which, in turn, on August 26, will be used to award the final prizes of the billion-lira Lottery.
