Riva’s Torre Apponale Reopens to Public After Safety Clearance
After the static test was completed and the clearance was granted by the vigilance committee, everything is ready for the public opening of the Torre Apponale. From tomorrow morning, anyone willing to climb the 163 steps that lead from the square to a height of 37 meters, nearing the famous Anzolim, will be able to do so free of charge (for tomorrow). This decision was made by the municipal authorities, who will meet at the foot of the tower at 10 am to celebrate what is a true event for Riva. Entrance tickets (which will also grant access to the Municipal Museum) will start being sold from Sunday, with the only exceptions of Monday (closing day) and Friday, when no one—including tourists—will have to pay to enjoy from the windows of the Apponale one of the most beautiful views of Garda.
