Agriculture Debate in Polpenazze: GMOs vs Organic Farming
The “La Torre” Group of Polpenazze del Garda and the Lombard Association of Organic Farmers “La buona terra” are organizing a conference on the theme: “Agriculture between Genetically Modified Organisms and Organic Farming.” The event is scheduled for August 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the council hall of Polpenazze.
Among the speakers will be Professor Gianni Tamino (a professor at the University of Padua and member of the National Committee for Biosafety and Biotechnologies), who will discuss the possible scenarios in agriculture following the dissemination of genetically modified organisms.
