Paolo Angeli Debuts LEMA at MITA Cultural Center During Voices HYBRITUDE Music Festival

On January 22, Paolo Angeli will perform his solo concert “LEMA” at the MITA Cultural Center in Brescia, as part of the Voices | HYBRITUDE Music program. The performance features Angeli’s Sardinian prepared guitar, blending strings, objects, electronics, and voice to explore themes of migration, exchange, and cultural transformation across the Mediterranean.

The concert serves as a sonic narrative of departures, arrivals, and memories, using music as a metaphor for cultural transit. The event coincides with the museum’s ongoing exhibition “LE TRAME DEL DRAGONE,” which highlights the interconnected histories of Asian carpets, emphasizing themes of exchange and migration similar to those in Angeli’s musical exploration.
