Ledro Valley prepares for the Christmas Torchlight Procession and festive events

Just under a month remains until the 12th edition of the “Natale Insieme” Torchlight Procession, but the countdown to the traditional event on December 8th has already begun.

This year’s program of side events is also rich, officially kicking off on Saturday, November 24th, with the “Grand Tombola for the Torchlight Procession” at the Tiarno di Sotto theater.

Preparatory Events and Shows

Next Saturday, December 1st, again at the Ledro Center, the “Arco 90” theatrical troupe will perform the dialect comedy “Meti Nà Suocera En Casa”.

On Sunday, December 2nd, at 3 p.m., the large “Festival in the Square, Ledro Valley for the Christmas Torch” will take place in Tiarno di Sotto, featuring the distribution of sandwiches and grilled sausages, mulled wine, and soft drinks. An afternoon full of joy, with live music throughout.

Final Evening and Preparations

On the evening of December 7th, the eve of the eagerly awaited event, the “Grand Tombola for the Torchlight Procession” will be held at the Riva Oratory. Finally, on Saturday, December 8th, the highly anticipated day will begin at 10 a.m. with a parade through the streets of Riva’s historic center led by the band from Lizzana, “Do, G. Pederzini”, concluding with a final performance.

Later, in the Oratory square, the “Heart Market”, fire brigade demonstrations, a choir concert, and at 5:30 p.m., the Torchlight Procession will set off.
