Bardolino Launches Bid to Become Italy’s Capital of Culture

Bardolino has officially launched its bid to become Italy’s Capital of Culture, focusing on community involvement and the revitalization of public spaces such as piazzas, lakeside promenades, parks, and alleys. The initiative aims to strengthen local identity by transforming these areas into accessible, lively cultural hubs through collaborative efforts with residents, schools, associations, and local organizations across the Garda community.

The project emphasizes long-term cultural and territorial valorization, with actions designed to leave lasting benefits and foster a sense of belonging. Mayor Daniele Bertasi announced the initiative and committed to ongoing communication to keep citizens informed about progress and upcoming activities.
