A fire broke out in the early afternoon of May 22, 2024, in the basement of a townhouse on Dugazze Street, Desenzano. The owner and her son, who were present at the time of the incident, noticed a strong burning smell coming from the lower floor. After confirming the presence of smoke, they immediately evacuated the house and called for help.

The local police, Red Cross ambulance, and Desenzano Fire Department responded quickly, managing to contain the flames with the help of a thunderstorm that contributed to extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the incident.
