Riva del Garda Civic Library Reinforces Cultural Leadership in 2025 with Increased Visitors and Book Loans

Riva del Garda’s Civic Library reported increased community engagement in 2025, with over 78,000 visits and 42,680 book loans. The library maintained a broad schedule, opening 295 days and offering 54.5 hours weekly, serving a diverse user base including nearly 3,400 active borrowers and a collection of approximately 87,300 documents.

The institution’s activities included extensive educational programs, over 260 cultural events for all ages, and significant interlibrary loan activity with more than 4,000 requests exchanged. Library officials highlighted the service’s efficiency and its role as a cultural hub, despite staffing challenges, emphasizing its importance in fostering community connection and access to culture.
