Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Area to Trick Local Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the middle and upper Garda area, proposing subscriptions to magazines associated with the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, each time, claim to belong to the finance police, regular police, fire brigade, or municipal officers.

They often offer subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or magazines unrelated to law enforcement agencies.
