Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Local Businesses in Garda

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurant owners in Medio and Alto Garda, proposing subscriptions to magazines associated with the force.

They are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, the police, the fire brigade, or the municipal guards.
