Garda Scammers Impersonate Authorities to Target Local Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in Middle and Upper Garda, proposing subscriptions to army magazines.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, on different occasions, claim to belong to finance, police, firefighters, or the municipal police.
