Garda Area Scammers Impersonate Authorities to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions
They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurant owners in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to army magazines.
These are not military personnel, but fraudsters who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police, fire brigade, or Municipality.
