Fraudsters Impersonate Carabinieri in Garda Area Scams

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Medio and Alto Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the army magazines.

These are not military personnel, but fraudsters who, from time to time, claim to belong to the financial police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
