Garda Fraud Alert: Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They impersonate Carabinieri when phoning hotel owners, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the army‘s magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the financial police, police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
