Scammers Impersonate Police to Trick Garda Hoteliers and Shopkeepers

They impersonate Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering subscriptions to arm magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
