Pretending to be Carabinieri, they call hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Alto Garda regions, offering magazine subscriptions from the force.

They are not soldiers, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, firefighters, or the Municipal police.

How to recognize scams
