FIEPeT Confesercenti Appoints Andrea Maggioni as Vice President in Salò
Giancarlo Banchieri was appointed president of FIEPeT Confesercenti during the organization’s recent inauguration meeting, with Claudio Pica named vice president and Andrea Maggioni and Franco Brogi serving as vice presidents. Andrea Maggioni, a tourism operator and local business leader, also holds roles as vice president of Visit Brescia, president of Salò merchants, and regional coordinator for Confesercenti.
Maggioni expressed gratitude for the appointment, emphasizing the importance of representing Brescia’s hospitality sector, which is vital to the local economy and identity. FIEPeT Confesercenti advocates for thousands of businesses in food service and entertainment, sectors currently facing challenges related to energy costs, rent, labor, and regulatory compliance. In Lombardy, the sector includes nearly 48,000 companies generating over €9.5 billion in output, part of Italy’s broader industry comprising approximately 328,000 firms with 1.37 million employees.
