Rivoltella Civic Tower Reopens After Major Restoration
Rivoltella’s Civic Tower has been restored and maintained as part of a project to preserve its historical significance, coinciding with the centenary of Rivoltella and Desenzano’s unification. The work included vegetation removal to prevent structural damage and the replacement of the tower’s lighting system to enhance nighttime visibility.
The restoration effort, costing approximately €5,000, reflects broader urban decorum and safety initiatives. Local officials, including Council President Paolo Abate, emphasized the symbolic importance of the tower in celebrating 100 years of the unified municipality and its role in safeguarding the community’s cultural heritage.
