Silvia Gottardi Embarks on Sustainable Bikepacking Journey from Riva del Garda

Silvia Gottardi from Riva del Garda is cycling from Paris to Cortina to promote the “M’illumino di meno” campaign for National Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles Day. The 1,400 km journey, starting February 8 and ending February 21, aims to highlight zero-impact living and assess the sustainability of the 2026 Winter Olympics, which are promoted as environmentally friendly.

Traveling through Digione, Lausanne, Milan, and Verona, Gottardi will use Specialized’s Diverge STR gravel bike equipped with GIVI-Bike’s Extreme line bags designed for experienced cyclists. She will share her experience with environmental activists, including those involved in the Utopiadi protest, and emphasizes the functionality and durability of her gear, which she previously tested during an 820 km Patagonia trip.
