Scammers Impersonate Police to Sell Fake Magazine Subscriptions in Garda

They pose as Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

These are not military personnel but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, police, fire brigade, or the Municipal police.

They often offer subscriptions to non-existent magazines or publications unrelated to law enforcement.
