Cycling Enthusiasts Anticipate the 102nd San Geo Amateur Race
The 102nd Coppa San Geo, a historic amateur cycling race, was officially launched last night at the Sullivan Restaurant in Ponte San Marco. The event, scheduled for February 14, will feature 29 teams and approximately 200 riders, covering 164.65 km with start and finish locations in Ponte San Marco and Padenghe.
The presentation was attended by local authorities, sports figures, and former champions, including Alberto Destro, who shared his connection to the race. The event also paid tribute to late cyclist Michele Dancelli and showcased a video of the race route. The race’s organization continues to highlight its significance in the regional cycling calendar.
