Scammers Impersonate Carabinieri to Target Garda Ionian Businesses

They impersonate Carabinieri when making telephone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

They are not members of the military, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune police.
