Carabinieri Impersonators Scam Businesses in Garda Area

They impersonate Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda, offering subscriptions to magazines of the force.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, at different times, claim to be part of the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the municipal police.
