The Nautical Center of Salerno was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

The center’s facilities host many students participating in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The structure includes a large indoor swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Students take part in practical drills, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held here.
