Salerno Nautical Center: Marine Education, Activities, and Events

“The Salerno Nautical Center (Centronautico) was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its headquarters host many students who attend swimming, sailing, and water activities. The facility includes a large indoor swimming pool and vast areas for learning and training.

Activities and Events

Students participate in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural meetings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.

The Centronautico collaborates with many sports and nautical institutions to promote maritime culture among youths and to support environmental education.
