Calcinato Seeks Clarification from Province on Toll Exemption for SP19 Within 2 Kilometers

Calcinato has formally requested clarification from Brescia Province regarding the application of the two-kilometer exemption criterion for tolls on Provincial Road 19 “Corda Molle.” Despite the town’s boundary being approximately 1,800 meters from the route, it has been excluded from toll benefits, prompting the municipality to seek consistency and transparency in the criteria.

In a letter signed by Mayor Vincenza Corsini, Calcinato questioned the calculation methods and the rationale behind the exclusion, emphasizing the importance of equitable resource allocation. The municipality has also requested an institutional meeting to review technical data and discuss potential revisions to ensure fair treatment for all communities within the province.
