Moniga del Garda is getting ready to host the eighth edition of the “Colpi di Colore” event. This vibrant and diverse festival will transform the town into an open stage for unique concerts and performances. Over the next few weeks, there will be five musical events, offering participants different and engaging sound experiences.

The first concert of the series, titled “Lirica e Oltre” (Opera and Beyond), is scheduled for Friday, July 12th at 9 pm at the Moniga Castle. The evening will feature Maghan McPhee (soprano), Simone Fenotti (tenor), and Carl Philip Gionet (piano). Each performance will be associated with a specific color, inviting participants to wear clothes or accessories that reflect that color.

The second event, called “Ritmo!” (Rhythm!), will take place on Sunday, July 28th at 9 pm, also at the Moniga Castle. The TempoPrimo Quartet, composed of Marco Benato, Leonardo Caleffi, Carlo Alberto Chittolina, and Paolo Grillenzoni on percussion, will perform a high-energy show. The guiding color for this evening will be blue.

On Monday, August 5th, it will be time for “Quattro Senza” (Four Without), with Simone Salvi, Mattia Belloli, Manolo Colombo, and Michele Giardino offering a unique vocal performance. This concert will also take place at the Moniga Castle at 9 pm and is associated with the color green.

A special event awaits the audience on Sunday, August 11th: “Serenata per l’Alba” (Serenade for the Dawn). This morning performance will start at 6 am at the Moniga Harbor and will feature the InViaggio Quartet with Amos Bono (violin), Nausicaa Bono (cello), Alessandro Bono, and Romina Brentan (guitars). The color white will set the backdrop for this evocative musical dawn.

The festival will conclude on Monday, August 12th, with a tribute to the origins of jazz titled “Ragtime e Dixieland.” Giovanni Colombo (piano), Gigi Ghezzi (trumpet), Marco Rottoli (double bass), and Luca Bongiovanni (drums) will perform at the Moniga Castle from 9 pm. The theme color for the final evening will be blue.

All events are free, but in case of bad weather, the concerts will be canceled. Local residents are encouraged to actively participate by wearing colorful clothing or accessories corresponding to the theme of the evening.
