Tragedy struck in Igea Marina, where 24-year-old Silvia Coppolino, originally from San Martino della Battaglia, suddenly passed away while on vacation with her mother. The young woman reportedly experienced a health crisis, likely a cardiac arrest, and despite prompt medical assistance and being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Infermi Hospital in Rimini, she did not recover. Forensic examinations indicated that her death was due to natural causes, but an investigation is underway regarding a possible pre-existing condition.
The funeral will take place today at 4 PM in the parish church of San Martino Vescovo. The community is in shock over her untimely passing; Silvia was well-liked and known in the town, having worked as a babysitter and children’s entertainer.
