A road accident occurred this morning, Thursday, August 15, on the bypass between Peschiera del Garda and Affi, in the Castelnuovo del Garda section. A van and a car collided head-on, resulting in injuries to three people. Emergency services were alerted around 8 a.m. and promptly dispatched ambulances from 118, along with highway police and firefighters.
The accident took place in an area where the bypass crosses over a roundabout, temporarily transforming into a two-way street. To facilitate rescue operations, the road has been closed to traffic, with diversions in place. The causes of the collision are currently under investigation.
