On Sunday, August 25, the **Laghetto delle Danze** at the Vittoriale degli Italiani will host a special event dedicated to **Eleonora Duse**, the renowned Italian actress. The appointment is set for 9 PM with “Sipario di viaggio. Stories about Eleonora Duse,” a performance that will explore the significant places in the life of the Divine through a series of scenic tales.

## A Tribute to the Great Actress

The event is produced by the **Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale** and organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Asolo, as part of the celebrations for the centenary of the actress’s death. This project is supported by the **Comitato Nazionale Duse**, chaired by Giordano Bruno Guerri, and represents an important cultural initiative to honor the memory of a key figure in the history of Italian theater.

## Who is Luca Scarlini?

The scenic storytelling will be led by **Luca Scarlini**, a well-known essayist and playwright, who has collaborated with numerous artists and theatrical institutions both in Italy and abroad. Scarlini teaches at the Accademia di Brera and other art schools, pursuing a career rich in experiences within the performing arts.

## The Relationship Between Duse and d’Annunzio

At the heart of the narrative lies the intense relationship between Eleonora Duse and Gabriele d’Annunzio, two emblematic figures of the twentieth century. Scarlini aims to highlight not only their interaction in personal life but also their mutual influence on each other’s works. The storytelling will touch on significant aspects such as the novel “Fuoco,” a symbol of their complex connection.

## A Journey Through Art and History

The performance promises to be a true journey through **music** and words, offering an innovative perspective on the artistic legacy left by Duse. Considered a female icon and a pioneer in the fight for gender equality in theater, her figure continues to inspire generations of actors.
