Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Elderly and Disabled Well-Being

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of the local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly seeks to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation services will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social integration and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for encounters and solidarity among citizens.
