Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Elderly and Disabled Lives
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, a conference was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
The project seeks to promote social integration and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meeting and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
