Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Vulnerable Residents’ Well-being

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.

The project intends to promote social integration and improve the quality of life of those involved, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
