Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Boost Inclusion and Community

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most disadvantaged groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community encounters and solidarity.

Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring security services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
