Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Elderly and Disabled
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will have a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.
Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
