Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Groups Through Community-Driven Social Initiative

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The scheduled activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance services and coordinating among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
